Macklemore, Hozier and Kneecap Play Sold-Out Free Palestine Benefit Concert

Macklemore, Hozier, and Kneecap performed at a sold-out benefit concert in Dublin's 3Arena, as reported by Billboard. The show was the first of a three-city series raising money for Palestinian aid organizations.

The concert featured several special guests, including Irish folk band Beoga, singer-songwriter Lina Makoul, and Game of Thrones actor Liam Cunningham. Remote appearances were made by Mark Ruffalo, Julian Casablancas, and Cynthia Nixon.

The three-city run will also visit Paris' Accor Arena on October 29 and London's OVO Arena Wembley on October 30. All three dates are sold out, with proceeds going to organizations providing humanitarian relief, medical care, education, and advocacy for Palestinians.

The benefit series grew out of Macklemore's recent exit from Ed Sheeran's Loop Tour, during which he voiced support for Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. Macklemore has pledged $1 million in net earnings from the tour to Palestinian aid groups.
