Queens Of The Stone Age Release New Track

Queens Of The Stone Age are set to release their new album 'Perfecth' on Friday, as reported by Stereogum. The album's closing track, 'Run Away From The Mob', has been shared today.

The song 'Run Away From The Mob' originally dates back to the session for their 2013 album ...Like Clockwork and features Dave Grohl on drums. It is described as a letter to an oldest son, with a message of what to do if everything goes wrong.

The track examines mob mentality and the court of public opinion, building from a mournful guitar figure to an explosive expression of unconditional loyalty. Josh Homme explains that the song's end is 'the sound of a father standing behind his son'.

The release of 'Perfecth' and 'Run Away From The Mob' is significant for listeners because it showcases the band's continued ability to create meaningful and impactful music.
