The NFL has officially announced JAY-Z as the headliner of the 2027 Super Bowl Halftime Show, as reported by Consequence. This news was made official during Monday Night Football, following initial reports of his performance last week.
Super Bowl LXI will take place on Sunday, February 14th, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The event will be available to stream on Disney+, and will air on ESPN, ABC, and ESPN Deportes.
JAY-Z's entertainment company, Roc Nation, has been responsible for booking the Super Bowl Halftime Show and other major NFL music events since 2019. Other artists, including Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus, were also considered for the 2027 halftime show before JAY-Z was ultimately chosen.
This performance will mark JAY-Z's first appearance on the Super Bowl Halftime Show stage, following a series of high-profile stadium concerts in 2026 celebrating the anniversaries of Reasonable Doubt and The Blueprint.
