New Music Releases

As reported by Pitchfork, several new albums have been released, including DIIV's ZIRP!, Queens of the Stone Age's Perfecth, and Andy Stott's Late Loop.

DIIV's album was written during a chaotic period in lead singer Zachary Cole Smith's life, but the band has managed to create an album that is full of electro-pop joy, with smothering haze and effervescent hooks.

Andy Stott's Late Loop is his first album in five years and features downtempo trance songs with vocalists Alison Skidmore and Elaine Howley. The album explores themes of pressure, escape, and reflection.

Queens of the Stone Age's Perfecth is a relaxed and spacious album that muses on heartbreak, sex, and purifying catharsis. Other new releases include Heathers and Kali Malone's Burning Song, which was recorded at Thomaskirche in Leipzig, Germany.

These new releases offer a diverse range of music for listeners to enjoy, from shoegaze to electronic to stoner-rock. This matters to listeners because it provides them with a wealth of new music to discover and explore.
